2. End of Year calendar/info
May 1st staff meeting will need to start at 8:00 - providing overview of new reading series
End of year luncheon on May 22 (eat in classrooms)
Big changes this year - no cum labels, printing report cards on the last day and having support staff help stuff envelopes
3. Old materials
Would we like to pass books on to the grade level lower (example 2nd gr give to 1st grade) - feedback????
List of materials and what we are doing with them will be provided later in May - example: TEs and resources will be collected, little readers can be kept
4. Student records - teachers checking in guidance
Please check records when you get new students, as you know we are short a person in guidance and Kathy can't get these out as quickly with everything else
5. 3-5 on bus ramp before called 6. Splash Bash
Need volunteers!! Volunteer packets to be handed out
Will email team leaders a blurb for newsletters
Need staff to loan pop up canopies, shade/beach umbrellas and hoses
Need donations of cases of water, splat balls (need lots of them), water misting bottles and sponges
No dunk tank this year, will have inflatable slide/chute from beach blast instead
Activities will be wet, dry (except PK, K and Cardenas), lunch in classrooms, specials and snack room
Schedule will be very similar to last year’s
Next team leader’s meeting will hand out schedules.
7. Signing in and out
Using raptor wand to sign in and out, 3 locations (front desk, guidance, copy area)
Sign out for lunch, meetings will still be physically signed out in red book
8. 25th Celebration
Erika Luke is working to secure donations (monetary and food items). If we do not get enough donations, we will have to seek donations from staff and guests attending Friday night (i.e. paper productions, punch ingredients, etc.)
Table decorations: looking for knick knacks from themes past. Will put these on mirrors on the tables to act as centerpieces. Please label these with your name and give them to Karen Isrow.
Friday day: ice cream novelties during the pep rally. Erika is pursuing donations for this from the ice cream company, if not, we will serve ice cream sandwiches or tri-colored popsicles.
Friday evening: Erika was able to secure dinner for 60 from Olive Garden and a private donation will fund the rest of the meal (ziti bread and salad). Public donations or a private donation will fund a cake for the evening. Sonny’s is providing sweet and unsweet tea for with the meal. We will serve punch upon entry into the event.
Saturday morning: Doughnuts (Wal-Mart), coffee (donation needed) and lemonade (donated by Sonny’s)
25th anniversary garland project to be handed out and explained
9. End of Year Sign Up
Calendar will be on the counter near the mailbox area for sign up with Lynne or Rob
10. Attendance
Folders need to come up, even if there is nothing in them
Mark attendance daily, need to submit even if all of the kids are here
11. United Way read in
Schedule was already sent out
Pick 2-3 books for the guests to read, they will be in your room for about 30 minutes
